If this group can't get to those heights, Devlin is well aware the club will look for January arrivals to deliver.
The right-back, 32, said: “Everyone should be looking over their shoulder.
“We are at a big club. We have a big squad to begin with and, if we are not winning games, nobody can think their position is safe.
“Nobody can think they are guaranteed to play all the time.
“As a player, you have to keep looking over your shoulder. You can never be too comfortable in the team.
