No NHS Scotland app rollout till 2030

SCOTTISH Health Secretary Neil Gray has boasted that he will finally launch an NHS app for Scotland — but it won't be rolled out fully until 2030, 11 years after the NHS England app went live.

The SNP has promised an app for years, but has failed to produce.

Yesterday, Mr Gray confirmed it will launch next year, describing the project as the “single biggest digital innovation in Scotland’s health and social care system” which will “revolutionise how people manage and receive their healthcare”.

But the Scottish Government has lagged behind its neighbours when it comes to improving the health service.
