Moscow oil depot in flames after Ukraine drones strike

UKRAINIAN drones struck an oil depot near Moscow, sparking a major blaze in the latest overnight aerial bombardment.

Russia's military claimed to have shot down 193 unmanned aerial devices across the country, as Kyiv targets energy infrastructure and military-industrial sites.

Moscow's mayor Sergey Sobyanin said air defence systems had taken down 36 drones heading towards Russia's capital city.

However, some still made it to their targets, with one crashing into the oil depot in Serpukhov, south of the Russian capital.

Video footage filmed by local residents and posted to social media showed a major fire at the site.

This was the second big drone attack on Moscow in a month.
