MacIntyre: I thought I'd won US Open

But the bullish Scot believes he's now heading to next month's Open right on target for Major success after being agonisingly denied victory at Oakmont.

MacIntyre, below, came so close to a phenomenal triumph, defying brutal conditions, Sunday rain delays and pressure to move to the brink of the title.
