Jack tuning up for the big one

JACK DRAPER will launch his grass-court season at Queen’s today with the aim of peaking across London next month at Wimbledon.

The No.2 seed, who faces world No.149 Jenson Brooksby in the first round this afternoon, said: “Obviously I'd love to do amazingly well this week, but Wimbledon is a priority for me.”

Draper needs to get accustomed to grass again before the next Grand Slam after reaching the fourth round at the French Open on clay.

“It’s always an interesting one, that first natural tournament on the grass,” he added.
