Castle holding Hess has been left in a mess

THIS Scottish castle once housed Nazi Rudolf Hess but has now been reclaimed by nature.
Buchanan Castle, near Drymen in Stirlingshire, was built in the 1850s and served as the home of the Montrose family until 1925.
It was then sold and the building opened as a hotel in 1930 with plans for a golf course. But, as the Second World War broke out, plans were delayed and it was requisitioned as a hospital.
