Dietitian champions informed choices

With more than 15 years' experience in the field, dietitian Boitumelo Magoro has built a career rooted in empowering people to make informed and sustainable food choices.

Balancing her time between appointments at the private hospitals in the city, her passion for nutrition and patient care remains clear.

Based at Mashiane Dietitians at the Limpopo Medical Centre, Magoro's professional journey started after completing a four-year nutrition degree at the University of Limpopo in 2010.

“I went straight from high school to university, and it was during my studies that I truly discovered what dietetics is about. I realised how nutrition can prevent disease, support recovery and improve quality of life in very real, measurable ways.”
