Sunette van Zyl het haar pa, Jan Johannes (Seun) van Zyl (53), laas in 2021 gesien en sê sy leef nog steeds met die onsekerheid oor sy welstand. Jan is handig met sy hande en doen loswerk, maar het deur die jare gesukkel met dwelmverslawing, vertel sy.
"Ek het hom eendag by 7-Eleven raakgeloop en skaars herken. Hy was 'n groot man, maar die dwelms het hul tol geëis," vertel Sunette. Sy sê dat haar pa het al verskeie kere in en uit rehabilitasiesentrums was.
