Renfrewshire turns page after books gift

Children, young people and communities across Renfrewshire have received books as a Christmas gift.
-
The Scottish Book Trust donated more than 14,000 books as part of its national campaign to foster a love of reading, widen access to booksparticularly for those who have noneand improve literacy across Scotland.
The majority of books were distributed to schools, nurseries and libraries by Renfrewshire Council and OneRen.
The STAR Project, Home Start Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire Toy Bank, the Renfrewshire Promise Champions, and other local third sector organisations also received books.
