A Paisley charity has received positive feedback following a visit from the Care Inspectorate.

Care inspectors praise the work of staff at Kibble's Safe Centre

Developing services Chief executive Jim Gillespie outlined his vision for the Safe Centre after Kibble's positive Care Inspectorate report.

The scrutiny body visited Kibble's Safe Centre in Paisley to ensure young people receive the very best care.

And Kibble was praised for its care and support of young people at a point of crisis - receiving an overall rating of five, meaning very good.

It was rated six, which means excellent, within the category of ‘children and young people are safe, feel loved and get the most out of life!

The Safe Centre in Paisley provides specialist residential care for young people and aims to offers a safe, secure, compassionate and therapeutic environment where they can heal, develop coping skills and rebuild their lives.

The Care Inspectorate report highlights that physical and emotional safety is a top priority at the Safe Centre and, when challenges arise, staff adopt a whole-team approach to understand young people’s needs and provide compassionate, informed responses.
