Unbeaten runs continued and there were shake-ups aplenty in the Paisley & District Darts League on Monday night.

- JOHN MCCULLOCH

In Division One, Hagg Bar A lead the way and ran up their second 9-0 victory of the season - this one at home to ninth-placed Pockets B who only managed to win three legs during the match.

Pockets A climbed into second spot when they faced seventh-placed Hagg Bar C following a very impressive 8-1 win as they just missed out on the whitewash.

Clachan Arrows are another team on the move up to third, on the same points total as Pockets A, but nine winning legs behind them after a very close 5-4 away victory at 10th-placed Tartan Thunder.

Winning the match in the second doubles game, Stephen McCombe and Kevin McDairmid were on target to secure the points.

Hashtag Bar are the third team on the rise, and now sit fourth, after a very hard-fought trip to Flying Horse.

The match swung one way then the other as the teams couldn't be separated after the singles matches, sharing the spoils at 3-3.

This continued into the doubles with the teams sharing 2-0 wins to set up a decider and it was the Hashtag Bar pairing of Bryan Hannah and Joe Duffy who held their nerve.
