Saints legend confident St Mirren will turn around league form and still finish top six
Tony Fitzpatrick says Stephen Robinson has “smashed it” at St Mirren after leading the club to the Premier Sports Cup Final.
The Buddies legend was at Hampden earlier this month as he watched his team beat Motherwell 4-1 to set up a showpiece with Celtic on Sunday, December 14.
Mikael Mandron’s brace either side of goals from Dan Nlundulu and Richard King have given Saints a shot at silverware they last won in 2013.
Fitzpatrick was delighted with the result and performance as Robbo (inset above) completed the next box on his Paisley checklist.
