Manager insists Saints respect but don't dread facing any of their Premiership rivals

Stephen Robinson yesterday insisted St Mirren don't fear any of their Premiership rivals.

The Buddies boss expects this Sunday's match at the SMISA Stadium to be a tough test. Rangers will make the trip from Govan to Paisley - and the Light Blues fans will be looking for a performance.

Gers fell to a 3-1 loss in the Champions League playoff first leg to Club Brugge, with the Ibrox faithful showing their discontent with the performance post-match on Tuesday night.

And when they arrive at Greenhill Road on Sunday lunchtime, Robbo knows they will be looking for Russell Martin's team to show their teeth.

That is why the Buddies gaffer wants the same fast start as his side produced against Hearts last week in the Premier Sports Cup, where they didn't give anything for the away support to cling to.
