Festive parking freebie for Christmas shoppers
Paisley Daily Express
|November 14, 2025
Free parking is being extended during December in Paisley town centre council car parks.
Parking is already free for up to one hour in council car parks and on street spaces, while it is free all day on Sundays.
Now, to provide an extra festive boost, it will be free to park for up to two hours in these council car parks between December 1 and January 3, 2026.
It's a repeat of the scheme run last year designed to encourage more people to visit the town centre and spend local.
Renfrewshire Council leader Iain Nicolson said: "We're extending free parking in Paisley town centre council car parks over the festive period to encourage more people to spend local.
