Top man to move to new Renfrewshire post next month
The appointment of a new chief officer of Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has been formally ratified.
Billy McClean, head of community health and care services at South Ayrshire HSCP and NHS Ayrshire and Arran, will take up the post.
Members of Renfrewshire Integration Joint Board (IJB), responsible for oversight of the HSCP, officially recognised the appointment - effective from Monday, August 11 - at its summit on Friday.
A report to the board explained: "At meetings of the IJB held on December 13 and January 24, members were advised that Christine Laverty had been appointed to the post of chief officer of Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership and would take up this position in early 2025.
