MAGPIES TRAVEL TO FACE IN-FORM BARNET TODAY

- By STEPHEN PAGE

NOTTS County boss Martin Paterson admits he “couldn’t be more complimentary” about today’s opponents Barnet following the hosts’ recent strong run of form.

The Magpies travel to the Hive Stadium today to face a Bees side (3pm) that have won four and drawn one of their last five League Two matches, with Dean Brennan’s team currently occupying the final play off spot, in seventh, following their promotion from the National League last term.

Notts head into today's clash in 13th place, on 17 points from 11 matches played, having won five, drawn two and lost four of their League games to date. They sit three points behind the Bees with a game in hand.

Discussing this afternoon’s opponents, Paterson told the Magpies website: "It's clear to see why (they're in good form) when I've watched all the games.
