Application made to convert Grade Il-listed Bodlondeb complex
-
PLANS have been submitted to transform an historic former council headquarters into a home for entrepreneurs.
Ideas Invest wants to accelerate entrepreneurship and innovation in North Wales and has snapped up key sites in the region.
This included exchanging contracts with Conwy County Borough Council on a 250-year lease for the Bodlondeb site in Conwy, which the council departed from this year.
They have now put an application to start the work transforming the use of the building. Director Dylan Jones-Evans said: “Doing things properly takes time and over the last few months, Nick Pritchard and I have been working with the brilliant team at DEWIS architecture to put together our plans for Bodlondeb as a new entrepreneurship and business centre.
“Bodlondeb has been part of Conwy’s civic story for generations and the Ideas Community is working to ensure it has an equally important future as a home for entrepreneurs, innovators and the wider community.
