Norway celebrates Constitution Day

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Manila hosted the celebration for Norway's Constitution Day on May 17 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manila.

This annual event is a significant occasion marking the signing of Norway's constitution in 1814. The evening gathered guests across government, international organizations, business sector, members of the diplomatic corps, and friends of the embassy.
For the ceremonial toast, Norwegian Ambassador Christian Halaas Lyster was joined by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps John Brown and Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Jesus S. Domingo.
