Three development applications up for approval this week

THREE big developments set transform parts of Salford could be approved next week.

A new high-rise tower block complete with a cafe and cinema room and affordable mid-rise apartments are among the plans developers hope to start if given the green light by Salford council.

The developments could see the continuation of a recent building boom on and around Chapel Street.

All three will be considered at the council's planning and transportation regulatory meeting on Thursday.
