HUNDREDS of people turned up at the Albert Dock yesterday as Liverpool's annual Boxing Day swim returned.
Swimmers of all ages took the plunge to experience the freshness of the cold water.
The event was organised by Liverpool Open Water Swimming Club, who ask for a £5 donation from participants.
All funds raised will go to local charities. Among those taking part were friends Sarah Head, 56, Coleen Murphy, 63, both from Birkenhead, and Alison Martin, 49, from Hoylake.
