SANDWICH, drink, crisps, chocolate bar, token bit of fruit... when it comes to putting together children’s lunchboxes, it’s easy to fall into the same routine.

With food costs rocketing, many families are finding it's easier and cheaper to make pack ups, but as mum-of-three Caroline Job, the creator of Lunchbox World, an online guide to all things lunchbox-related explains, a bit of thought can make sure it all gets eaten.

“Think how you can make it fun - use wraps to make pinwheels, or other bread types to vary the sandwich, or use cutters to add some fun, or a crimping tool to make the edges rippled, and think in colour - what can you add to make it look more appetising?” she says.
