THE centenary of an estate has been marked with a special community event.
The celebration at Lift Beacon Primary School showcased the history of Shelthorpe, in Loughborough, through information stalls and also featured food and drink, children’s activities and entertainment.
The centenary celebrations received £60,000 through the borough council's shared prosperity fund allocation.
