Frequency of anti-gay hate crime 'worrying'

FLAGS TORN DOWN AT SALON SIX TIMES, TWICE IN PAST MONTH

MANAGERS of a hair salon hit by two hate crimes in a month say the frequency of incidents is getting worrying.

Pride flags were ripped down from the The Secret Garden, in Clarendon Park, Leicester, on September 14.

CCTV footage shows a person dressed all in black and with their face covered, taking the flag from the wall and throwing it on the floor before putting it in a bin.

Salon co-owner George Waterfield said: "This is the sixth time this has happened now and we had it happen just three weeks ago.
