After sweeping the Emmys, Adolescence is now nominated for five Golden Globes

A HIT television drama created by and starring Stephen Graham has been nominated for five Golden Globe awards.

Netflix drama series Adolescence, a four-part psychological crime drama telling the story of a family thrown into turmoil when their 13-year-old son is arrested for murder, leads the way in British nominations at the US awards, which are presented for excellence in international film and television.

Adolescence’s nominations include for best limited series, anthology series or television motion picture.

All four of its main actors are also up for major awards.

Graham, who has lived in Ibstock for almost 20 years, is nominated as best male actor in a television limited series, anthology series, TV motion picture.
