Boy, 15, assaulted by gang

A young boy was seriously assaulted in Cumnock last weekend after being attacked by a gang.
Detectives have issued an urgent appeal for information after the 15-year-old was assaulted by a group of four or five youths on Lugar Street at around 7.30pm on Friday night (January 30).
Officers are combing CCTV footage in a bid to trace the assailants and have urged anyone with information to get in touch with police.
