TV presenter Ruth Langsford I am not looking for love but never say never

Life for Ruth Langsford is looking bright and positive. Her best-selling book was released in February, Loose Women work continues on ITV and her own clothes range is among the products regularly selling out on QVC.
In fact she is so busy when we speak, we avoid using video on the call as her hair is in rollers and her fake tan has just been applied, ready for her to be on screen again.
Ruth has arguably made it through the toughest two years of her life. It was at the end of May 2024 that she and Eamonn Holmes, one of TV’s golden couples, announced they were splitting up after 14 years of marriage.
Since then Ruth has seen Eamonn begin a new relationship - he was regularly taking his new partner to events in public just months after his marriage ended. So they went from spouses and co-hosts on This Morning, alongside Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, to exes.
Asked how she feels two years on from their split, Ruth says: ‘I’ve always been a very independent woman, that hasn’t really changed. But this is where I found myself, and I just have to get on with my life and make my own happiness and keep my career going, and look out for my son.
“You know, life changes, life can change from one second to the next, one hour to the next, nobody knows what’s going to happen in their life, but here I am, and I’m doing all right.
“They say time is a great healer, and that always sounds like a bit of a cliche, but I really believe it is.”

ADDING THE COLOUR TO WILDE TIMES
Be yourself, because everyone else is taken. That's one heartfelt sermon of MadFabulous, a colourful comedy drama shot on location across Wales about a late 19th-century dandy, who makes stiff upper lips tremble as he pursues an authentic aristocratic life while Oscar Wilde is rotting in Reading Gaol, serving a two-year sentence for acts of gross indecency with another man.
