...But Harry's Irish dancing skit on SNL leaves some reeling

A ROW has erupted after US show Saturday Night Live aired a skit titled She's An Irish Dancer featuring English singer Harry Styles.

The sketch, which lasts two minutes and 40 seconds, went out on NBC and was subsequently shared on various social media platforms after the comedy show had aired live.

The skit opens with Styles, who was guest presenting the show, in a snazzy nightclub with some friends.

While singing, he meets a young woman who whispers in his ear offering to dance for him.

Styles who is clearly expecting something a little more sassy - is left speechless when the woman calls for her friends to join her and they perform Irish dancing.

As the dancing ends, one of the women turns to Styles and asks: "Turned on yet, fella?" The next part of the sketch sees one of the men who was with Styles in the club meet a girl who takes him back to her apartment.
