RONAN O'GARA has been handed a two-game ban and a €3,000 fine for the red card he received during La Rochelle’s Top 14 loss to Pau on November 30.

O'Gara entered the pitch to protest the dismissal of out-half Antoine Hastoy (below) after just 34 seconds, the fastest red ever issued in the Top 14.

The Munster legend was ushered away by referee Jeremy Rozier but was later shown a red card himself in the 57th minute after off-field comments were heard by the official.
