After a poor first half, which saw the hosts carve out some fine chances, Sergej Jakirovic’s men improved drastically in the second period, helped by a change in shape, the arrival of Semi Ajayi and Gelhardt’s strike just four minutes into it.
Goals, goals, goals
Another two goals into the goals for column sees City ranked as the Championship’s second top scorers with their 22, albeit a long way behind Coventry City's 36.

Gelhardt’s fourth goal in four games also sees him move onto six goals, matching Oli McBurnie, who has also scored six, and matching Joao Pedro's total from last term, which he ended as the leading marksman.
