CM Urges Fortified Security, Community Vigilance in State

Jharkhand chief minister (CM) Hemant Soren chaired a high-level meeting at his residential office on Kanke Road on Saturday night, where he directed senior administrative and police officials to ensure the proper security and safety of important installations in the state, amid the armed conflict between India and Pakistan.

RANCHI: Jharkhand chief minister (CM) Hemant Soren chaired a high-level meeting at his residential office on Kanke Road on Saturday night, where he directed senior administrative and police officials to ensure the proper security and safety of important installations in the state, amid the armed conflict between India and Pakistan.

"Special attention should be paid to the security of important places like dams, plants, UCIL, powerhouses, and IOC, among others. Make extensive security arrangements for all small and large PSUs (Public sector undertakings) within the state," CM Soren instructed senior bureaucrats and police officials during the meeting.

The CM emphasised his commitment to national security and urged government officials to keep it in mind while planning. "National security is one of the top priorities. Given the security situation across the country, ensure the safety of every person in Jharkhand," he stated.
