Labubus are the latest in toy trends

ONE of my daughters has gone mad for a new trend called Labubu dolls.

- Carol Sheppard

Some people think they are cute but to be honest I think they look a bit menacing with their soft bodies, round faces and wide mouths.

Of course when something becomes very popular they become very hard to get hold of, as my daughter is finding out.

Despite several attempts she has yet to secure one as they are selling like hot cakes.

The elf-like dolls are born as a monster and many celebrities have been purchasing them like Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Kim Kardashian.

A major selling point of these dolls is that you buy them in a blind box whereby you don’t know what kind you have until you open the box.
