Intelligence-led rural crime and poaching patrols are being conducted by Stewartry and Wigtownshire Community Policing Teams.

As part of Rural Watch Scotland - an extension of the Neighbourhood Watch Scotland movement and a product of the Scottish Partnership Against Rural Crime - they are working “hand in hand” with local farmers, Forestry and Land Scotland Rangers, and other rural partners, on the crime clap down in the countryside.
