DEAL BOSS WANTS TO IMPROVE ON LAST SEASON'S POSITION
THEY exceeded expectations last season, but manager Steve King is wary of second-season syndrome as Deal Town look to improve on the seventh-place finish they achieved on their first season back at Step 4.
Town won 21 and drew just two of their 42 Isthmian League South East Division games in the 2024-25 season, finishing two places but 13 points off the play-offs.
It was a fantastic return for the club's first season at the level since 1963, but manager King is not taking anything for granted as the club prepare to do it all again in 2025-26.
