PLAINCLOTHES police officers patrolling the streets of Folkestone have made key arrests as part of a major week-long operation targeting "county lines" drug networks.

The activity centred on Foord Road, where officers stopped a man and a woman who were seen acting suspiciously on Tuesday, December 9. They were arrested and police found several hundred pounds in cash, four wraps of cocaine and a small knife.

The woman found in possession of the blade was remanded in custody for an unrelated matter and remains under investigation for the alleged drug offences. The man was released on bail while further enquiries continue.
