University's new £75m business school is set for its official opening

ZERO-CARBON CAMPUS HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS 'TRULY SPECIAL'

A NEW chapter in the history of the University of Derby will unfold this week when its latest campus will open its doors to students and receive its official opening on Friday.

The £75million state-of-the-art Cavendish Building, on the corner of Agard Street and Ford Street, is the new home of the Derby International Business School, located in the heart of the city.

The Derby Telegraph was given a sneak preview of the building by Dr Nicola Lynch, head of Derby International Business School, who explained that the creation of the new zero-carbon campus was “truly special”.

She said: “We are bringing together the community and business and creating a blueprint of how education and business can come together in an entrepreneurial environment.”
