Doctor's autopsy stalls hof

THE murder trial against two ouens charged with the gruesome murder of Qasim Burton hit another snag after it was revealed that the doctor who conducted the postmortem is no longer able to testify.

Darryl Burton and his co-accused Moegamat Sedick Jappie returned to the Bellville Regional Court yesterday facing murder and attempted murder charges following the death of 16-year-old Qasim Burton.

Qasim was a Grade 8 learner at the Voorbrug High School in Delft, who died on 21 December 2019 while sleeping at a friend’s house.
