THE family of a missing Elsies River vrou are appealing to the public for help to find the mom who has been missing since last June.
Melissa Hills (Delgada), 40, was last seen on 26 June 2025, after she asked a neighbour to call her an ambulance due to her struggling to breathe. Hill had already lost one lung due to an infection.
Local activist Shakeera "Shakes" Ganief Kube told the Daily Voice after she went missing that there had been reports of sightings of her at Elsies River Day Hospital.
She explained: “Somebody said she was dropped off at the Day Hospital, when we went to verify the information, there was one guy who said she was registered in the book.
