FORMER MODEL REVEALS BENEFITS ASSOCIATED WITH ADOPTING A PET
-

IT'S hard to believe that today's Jodie Kidd is the same girl who shot to fame in the mid-90s.
She was all razor-sharp cheekbones and designer scowl. But this is a cheery - if strikingly beautiful - rural pub owner.
Since leaving the fashion world behind, the supermodel has thrown herself into more everyday pleasures.
That means cosy afternoons at her pub, the Half Moon in Billingshurst, West Sussex. And, of course, spending time with her horses.
Her close bond with the animals, she says, helped cure the debilitating anxiety she was left with after her time on the catwalk.
And in return, the 46-year-old is keen to do her bit for other creatures in need.
As an ambassador for Agria's Rescue A Rescue campaign, she encourages everyone to consider adopting a pet.
"Adoption is incredibly important to me," she says. "Most of the animals in rescue organisations are there through no fault of their own. There are so many pets needing homes and I think we should all do our bit to help out where we can."

Pub pints an unaffordable luxury now
