Howe says Toon willing to splash the cash
EDDIE HOWE insists he is in a position to spend this January after being asked about the £125m fortune Newcastle picked up by selling Alexander Isak last summer.
The Toon remain in a defensive crisis, with Howe's squad being pushed to the limit by their challenge on four fronts.
A defender is on the wish-list, with Fabian Schar and Tino Livramento now facing long spells on the sidelines, but head coach Howe says a review on transfers is likely, with one eye on Profit and Sustainability Rules [PSR].
He said: "Collectively we will come to the right decisions.
