BBC says Match Of Day host can carry on tweeting
GARY Lineker has given the thumbs-up to new rules allowing big-name BBC stars to express views on politics.
The guidelines were introduced following a row over his tweets.
Beeb bosses said its presenters should stop short of campaigning or attacking political parties or MPs. Promoting lawbreaking is also out.
