Changed days indeed for Clarets ace Rodriguez

IT MAY not look like Burnley are progressing but Jay Rodriguez was there when they had wheely bins for ice baths.

Burnley are battling to avoid an immediate return to the Championship and they have lost eight of their nine home games ahead of this evening's visit by Liverpool.

But Rodriguez, who supported the club as a kid before becoming a ballboy and then player, struggles to believe how much his hometown club have developed.

Rodriguez, 34, made his debut 16 years ago this week, in the days when the players had to change at Turf Moor before driving to their Gawthorpe Hall training pitches because the facilities there were so limited.
