VISITORS to a stately home where Henry VIII once lived claim the face of his first wife has appeared on a tree.

Visitors to Ashridge House were spooked when Catherine of Aragon's image was spotted.

One visitor, who beat a hasty retreat, said he'd been to the stately home "loads of times".
