BRITAIN'S cats are invading social media as owners open accounts for their furry friends.

Dogs are also getting in on the act, with research revealing 16% of pet parents had put their animal on socials.

Owners update pet pages with regular pictures and videos, health updates and reports on their fur babies' activities.
