'I'LL KEEP IN TUCH OVER STAR MAN DCL'

Boss Farke will give Three Lions chief and his old pal Tuchel the lowdown on in-form striker

LEEDS manager Daniel Farke insists he is more than happy to field calls from old pal Thomas Tuchel about striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Calvert-Lewin has boosted his chances of an England call-up with his six goals in the last five games fuelling Leeds' resurgence in the Premier League.

And while Tuchel has yet to speak to the 28-year-old since he became Three Lions boss, Farke says he is open to a discussion on his star forward.

The Whites boss worked with Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund between 2015 and 2017 and he believes his compatriot can lead England to World Cup glory next summer.

Farke (inset top), whose side travels to Sunderland today, said: "Thomas and I are very close.

"We worked together at Borussia Dortmund when he was first-team manager and I was managing the Under-21s.

"We developed a really good relationship but also held training sessions together and spoke about players.
