Gosdens enjoy Field trip to Sandown

JOHN and Thady Gosden were in seventh heaven at Sandown with gigantic grey juvenile Field Of Gold.

The father (below) and son team had waited all season for a star to emerge following an uncharacteristic slump in big-race winners.

But the future looks bright with their well-backed 5-4 favourite, who won the Sky Bet Solario Stakes a little snugly under Kieran Shoemark.

He was emulating his sire Kingman, the world's toprated colt in 2014 after rattling off four straight top-level triumphs.
