SNOOP Dogg claims that if he ever moves to the UK, it won't be to A-lister magnet the Cotswolds - but to Swansea, home of the US rapper's favourite football team.

The star, 54, said: "I'm sure people are gonna try and make US celebrities moving to the Cotswolds political. But it could just be because it's a beautiful place and England is such a great country. Not everything's got to have a deeper meaning" The hip-hop legend, currently in Italy with Team USA at the Winter Olympics as a hype man and "honorary coach", added: "I hear it's a beautiful place. But if Snoop is going to buy a property anywhere in the UK it's going to be in Swansea.

"That's where my team is, and the fans are my people. It's a proper working-class city, and I feel at home there." Snoop who was joined at the club in December by fellow coowner and friend, lifestyle guru Martha Stewart is set to make his long-awaited first appearance in the stands when he pitches up to see his side play against Preston North End Tuesday.
