A DAD saved his little son's life after donating his liver to the youngster.

Archie Wood was diagnosed with an extremely rare and deadly condition which meant his body was unable to break down excess protein.

The tot - who was born in 2023 - was told he would need a liver transplant from his dad, Jon, and both are now recovering following successful operations.

Relieved Jon, from Inverness, said: "When you have your first child, you expect your life to change, but not quite as much as this.
