Buddies will try to knock reeling Hoops off their stride so card bets offer some value
-
WHEN you've lost your first two games as Celtic boss and some people already have the knives out, a cup final against a team such as St Mirren is one of the last fixtures you want to have up next.
The Buddies have been a thorn in the Hoops' side, with the champions needing late goals in their last three meetings to save face.
So I'm surprised to see Stephen Robinson's men as big as 10/3 with McBookie to get their hands on the Premier Sports Cup tomorrow.
The Hoops have been poor in Wilfried Nancy's first week at the helm, with a 2-1 home loss to Hearts followed by a 3-0 battering from Roma at Parkhead.
It's hard not to feel for the Frenchman as he tries to implement a new style of play at such a critical point in the season for a disjoined side.
The board have sold him short by handing Nancy such a baptism of fire and I can't escape the feeling a bunch of Apprentice candidates are now running the show at Parkhead.
