Cold Feet star to play troubled A&E doctor

ROBERT Bathurst does not have Cold Feet about joining Casualty - he is loving every minute.

The actor, best known for his role as David Marsden in the ITV comedy Cold Feet, joins the team at Holby City's emergency department in March.

He plays Russell Whitelaw, a skilful but troubled surgeon in the Bafta-winning BBC medical drama.

Robert, 67, said: "It's so well run, well written and well directed.

"They built an operating theatre especially for this block of stories so all of us, actors and crew, were on a voyage of discovery.
