Kai loving loan life as Cov boss Frank still having an impact
KAI ANDREWS bagged a fairy-tale strike straight out of the Frank Lampard book of belters.
But for the Coventry teen, it was a privilege to deliver the magical moment for David Gray and Hibs.
Andrews could barely have picked a better time to open his senior account, stroking home an 87th-minute winner to smash Hibs' 16-year hoodoo at Celtic Park.
The on-loan 19-year-old stepped on to the ball at the edge of the box with all the calmness and technique of his Sky Blues boss Lampard in his pomp to bury a smooth finish.
Andrews smiled and said: "There's no one better to learn from than him really, is there?
"As soon as that ball lands there, there's only one thought going through my head stay composed and finish it.
"When the ball did land to me at the edge of the box, I was confident in my ability to put it in the back of the net.
"As soon as Ante (Suto) laid it off, straight away I'm thinking, 'Shoot'. You could say my eyes lit up. When the ball lands for you that perfectly, sometimes it is easy to lash at it and put it over the bar.
